Websites

A website is a sales conversation you’re not in the room for.

So it has to do what you would do: answer the question they arrived with, show them you have done this work before, and make the next step obvious. That is design work, and we do it from published research on how people read, scan and decide — not from taste.

What we design for

Three things decide whether a visitor calls.

  1. The judgment happens before the reading does.

People form an impression of a business from a page long before they have read a sentence of it. Spacing, hierarchy, type and photography carry that impression, so we treat them as the argument rather than the decoration around it.

  2. Every extra choice costs you one.

A page offering four ways forward gets fewer people through than a page offering one. We give each page a single obvious next step and cut what competes with it — which is why there is one button on this site and not five.

  3. Interest cools fast.

Someone who fills out a form has a problem right now, and they are usually asking somebody else at the same time. The site is built to hand that lead straight to your phone rather than to an inbox you check at the end of the day.

What a build includes

Built for your business, then looked after.

How many pages you need depends on what you sell and where you work. We size that in the audit rather than sorting you into a package first.

  • Designed, not templated. The layout follows your services, your area and the questions your customers actually ask.
  • Written for the work you want. Copy aimed at the jobs you would rather be booking, not filler about passion and excellence.
  • Connected from day one. Calls, texts and form fills land in one place, set up with your automation rather than bolted on later.
  • Built to be found. Page structure, titles and descriptions done properly, and your existing addresses kept working if you already have a site.
  • Payments, where they fit. Deposits, invoices or donations taken on the site when that is how your business runs.
  • Hosted and maintained. Hosting, updates and upkeep are part of the ongoing plan, not a bill that arrives when something breaks.

Accessibility

Built and tested to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

That is the standard we build to and test against: color contrast, keyboard navigation, focus order, and markup a screen reader can follow.

Third-party embedded content — booking calendars, chat widgets, payment forms — is supplied by vendors and is outside our control. Known limitations are documented in the site’s accessibility statement rather than left for you to discover.

We’ll go through your current site and tell you what is costing you calls, whether or not you build with us.
